In Kakavija, a case of an attempt to smuggle military ammunition from our country has been detected.

Based on the risk analysis, upon exiting the country, the NS citizen was passed to the second line, for a more detailed check.

From the controls, 50 combat cartridges and a pistol comb were found in this citizen's bag, which he tried to take out of our country, in violation of the law.

At the end of the procedural actions for this case, the NS citizen, 54 years old, resident in the village of Zejmen, Lezhë, was arrested in the act, and the military ammunition was seized as material evidence.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër, for further actions./ CNA
