CNA has reported how girls of different ages, with different nationalities come to Albania as tourists and stay in our country for about a month to practice prostitution.

Several such cases have been discovered in Albania and some girls have been prosecuted. This issue has returned to attention again, after two Ukrainian citizens, aged 25 and 40, were found dead in Tirana on Friday.

They allegedly died of Xanax and Tramadol overdoses. It was later discovered that the Ukrainian women were offering sex services.

Another case was reported at the beginning of May, where an Italian reported 2 citizens from Venezuela, who offered homosexual services, for misunderstandings.

Even at the beginning of March, a case of violence was reported by a girl from Venezuela. It was later discovered that she was living with 4 other female friends who offered sex services.

According to reports, these girls come to Albania from countries such as Ukraine, Poland and Belarus, Latin American countries, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Spain or the Czech Republic.

They come in groups of 3 to 4 women and then stay for about a month in Albania, they also go to other countries to offer the same services.

They mostly stay in apartments or Air BNB, to avoid giving away their identity. They are mainly concentrated in Tirana, but are also distributed in Durrës, Shkodër, Vlora and the southern coastline.

Their services start from 100 euros and range to staggering amounts, selecting the clientele among businessmen and people who deal with illegal activities due to high incomes./ CNA
