Attack in Athens/Execution of the 32-year-old, suspected of money laundering

New details have emerged regarding the assassination of the 32-year-old Albanian citizen, who was executed in the neighboring country on Thursday evening.

Everything happened shortly after 21:30 on Thursday on "Messolongiou" street when the victim was in a car with a woman.

Suddenly a motorcycle passed the car and fired a gun at the vehicle. The 32-year-old man died, while the woman was slightly injured.

From the first data collected by EL.AS. it seems that the 32-year-old had "open accounts" in Albania with criminal groups. At the same time, they report that the murdered person was involved in an attempted murder.

Eyewitnesses confess to being horrified at the moment of the assassination.

"My little girl was playing with his baby, we heard the shots and I ran to see if it was something or if it was just a game. The little girl was crying and saying 'my father, my father'," said a witness.

"We heard the shots, we thought they were for Easter, dynamite. We realized that something happened, we ran, we saw the car parked on the corner and his wife was shouting 'help, help'. They came to take the child who was playing," describes an eyewitness, mentioning that the couple was alone in the car./ CNA
