Murder of elderly couple/ Perpetrator's lawyer: Not suffering from mental health illness

Thoma Mastora's lawyer, Jorgo Kasapi, reacted against the decision of the first instance court that sentenced Mastora to prison. The latter is accused of murdering the Ilia couple a few days ago in the village of Bodrishte in Dropulli.

The lawyer cast doubts on the authenticity of the evidence given by the investigative team, and requested a lighter measure for Thoma Mastora, as a result of his health condition and age.

Also, the lawyer stated that his client does not suffer from mental health illness.

The court of Gjirokastra issued the arrest warrant for the 59-year-old man, who was accused of murdering the elderly couple in the village of Bodrishte in Dropulli, where they were found dead in their apartment. Mastora has denied that he is the author of the incident, even though according to the police there is evidence that proves this incident./ CNA
