The police have issued an official notification about the shooting of a vehicle parked in Shkodër.

During the shooting, he endangered the lives of passers-by, but fortunately the bullets did not hit anyone.

The author has been identified as the 83-year-old man with the initials FH. After the shooting, the blues organized to handcuff him.

The 83-year-old threatened the police officers that he would kill them with a Kalashnikov firearm.

With the specialized intervention of the Shkodër National Security Forces, it became possible to neutralize and handcuff the 83-year-old.

In the apartment of the arrested, the Police seized 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 shotgun and combat ammunition.

"The services of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate have established at midnight that a citizen was shooting with a shotgun from the balcony of his apartment in a building in the "Partizani" neighborhood, in the direction of parked vehicles.

The work was immediately organized, the area was cordoned off to prevent vehicles and pedestrians from passing, and the author was called upon not to shoot and to surrender.

The perpetrator did not obey the calls of the Police, but entered the apartment, closed the door and threatened to kill the Police officers, in case they entered the apartment.

In these conditions, the National Security Forces have gone to the aid of the local Police.

After specialized intervention, they made it possible to neutralize and handcuff citizen FH, 83 years old, resident of Shkodër.

Following the actions, the Police services seized 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 shotgun and combat ammunition.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Shkodër, for further actions," the police announcement states./ CNA
