Anti-drug operation "Knock Down 3"/ The two wanted youths are arrested

The police mega-operation coded "Rule of Law" follows, for the capture of wanted citizens and for the suppression of various criminal activities.  

A 22-year-old wanted as part of the police anti-drug operation codenamed "Knock Down 3" was captured and handcuffed.    

A 23-year-old man who cooperated with the 22-year-old to sell narcotics in doses, as well as supported him to avoid criminal responsibility, was also arrested.  

A quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis, divided into doses, ready for sale and 2 mobile phones were seized.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Korçë, based on the information provided by the police intelligence and as a result of the checks carried out following the "Rule of Law" mega-operation, in neighborhood no. 4, detained the wanted citizen MD, 22 years old, resident of Korça.   

The Court of Korça has assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", carried out in collaboration, after he was identified by the Police of Korça, as being involved in this criminal activity, which was hit within the police anti-drug operation coded "Knock Doën 3", carried out on 17.06.2022.      

During the search of the 22-year-old's apartment, a small amount of suspected narcotic cannabis, divided into doses, was found, as well as the citizen MR, 23 years old, a resident of Korça. From the verifications carried out, it is suspected that the MR citizen sold the narcotic substance on behalf of the 22-year-old and provided the latter with food and other means of living.      

From the aforementioned structures, the citizen MR was arrested in flagrante delicto, and the amount of the suspected narcotic drug cannabis and 2 mobile phones were seized as material evidence.   

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
