Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has spoken about the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj.

During an interview, Karamuço said that for his disappearance, the criminal groups united as a family, even a whole union that sought his elimination.

According to the expert, they have coordinated to carry out their plan.

"Organized crime has strengthened a lot. Arrangements to kill rivals are made by those who are not part of that area. They are also organized transnationally. Their function is like a family, an organization and they exchange honors with those they call allies. We have the case of the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj, where it is suspected that an entire syndicate was involved. It was not just one family, but several were coordinated for what is thought and suspected to have happened.

In Albania, we have not only the case of Martinaj, but also 4 others who are suspected to have the same fate, and it is not known whether they are dead or alive. We have the case of two missing people in Saranda, there is another person in Korça who committed a murder in Elbasan, who is in the same shadows. The priority has been for Ervin Martinaj, while not much is said about the others.

We cannot talk about genuine organizations, but I can say that in Albania there are about 20-22 organizations that have ups and downs in terms of power. They have started to transform and you can't understand who is leading whom.
