New details have come to light from yesterday's event in the village of Çellopek in Tetovo, where two people lost their lives and two others were injured. 

The police announce that three firearms were found at the scene, one of which was seized from the 60-year-old suspected perpetrator, and the other two were found near the two victims, whose bodies have been sent for autopsy. 

According to the Police, one weapon was taken from the arrested person, while the other two were found near the deceased F.Xh. and M.Xh. 

"On 27.12.2023 at around 14:30 in the village of Çellopek Tetovë, police officers from SPB Tetovë - Police Department Xerovjana, have stopped II (59) from the village of Çellopek, acting after reporting that at around 14:10 in the village with firearms killed his relatives F.Xh. (52) and M.Xh. (28) and wounded A.Xh. (54), all from the same village. The suspect, who was also injured by gunshots, was detained at the police station and sent to the Clinical Hospital of Tetovo for medical assistance. The place was checked by the public prosecutor and the inspection team of SPB Tetovo, during which three weapons were found and confiscated. One weapon was taken from the arrested person, while two the others were found in the vicinity of the deceased F.Xh. and M.Xh. By order of the public prosecutor, the bodies of the deceased have been sent for autopsy, and after the investigation and complete documentation of the case, a corresponding report will be submitted", it is said in the notification of SPB Tetovo./ CNA
