Controls with drones, radars and cameras/ Tirana Traffic Police arrest 30 drivers for violations

Intensive checks with drones, radars and cameras continue, as well as with an increased presence of Traffic Police services, to identify and punish violations that violate road safety and impede movement.

During the last week:

30 drivers arrested/prosecuted for criminal offenses in the field of road traffic;

20 vehicles were towed by a lifting vehicle after being parked in bus, taxi or bicycle lanes;

22 driving licenses suspended for serious violations of the Highway Code.

The Traffic Police continues to conduct non-stop checks on all roads and urban areas, with zero tolerance for any violation that compromises road safety and endangers the lives of road users.

Tirana Traffic Police once again appeals to all drivers to strictly respect road traffic rules, as a necessity to guarantee road safety and protect life./CNA
