Boat accident/One person arrested

The police have arrested citizen S. Xh., 51 years old, resident of Tirana, for the criminal offenses of "Violation of safety rules at work" and "Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth."    

From the investigative actions carried out under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, for the incident that occurred yesterday, in the area called "Shkëmbi i Kavajës", it resulted that citizen S. Xh. rented a "Jet Ski" watercraft, without the necessary safety measures, to Belgian citizen HK, who is not equipped with a driving license for this category of vehicles.

Also, citizen S. Xh., while carrying out procedural actions, provided false information about the case.    

The HK citizen, who was injured during maneuvers with the floating vehicle, remains in hospital, under the care of doctors./ CNA
