Students, teachers and parents are horrified by the shooting attack that took place in front of the 9-year-old school in Rrila in Lezha, where the person with the initials AP was injured. The police are still looking for the perpetrator of the incident. 

One of the witnesses told the media that machine gun shots were heard as in the 1997 riots. 

It's normal that the children are scared. It was the automatic like I had in '97 here. This boy who was injured is a regular, family man. How children feel terrified. We took them from school. No, they didn't happen here, Rrila is a quiet place. I am more grown up!'- said the witness from the scene. 

Police notification: 

At around 08:00, in the village of Rrilë, a citizen of AP, 54 years old, a resident of the village of Rrilë, while driving a vehicle, was injured with a firearm by an unidentified person. The 54-year-old was transported to the regional hospital of Lezha, where he is under the care of doctors (currently out of danger).

The Police Services, upon receiving the notification, immediately went to the scene, surrounded the area and set up checkpoints.

At the same time, the National Security Forces of the Shkodër Unit have been dispatched to assist the local Police. The investigative group, led by the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to identify and apprehend the perpetrator .
