Convicted for drugs/ extradited from Italy the most wanted

As a result of the ongoing cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, for the capture and extradition of citizens declared internationally wanted, the Albanian citizen was extradited from Italy to Albania:  

Haki Mehmeti, 39 years old, born in Elbasan.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Vlora Court of Appeal, with the decision dated 02.04.2014, sentenced him to 8 years of imprisonment (of which he has 6 years, 9 months and 27 days of imprisonment left to serve), for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Disobedience to the order of public order police officers", committed in cooperation.

The citizen Haki Mehmeti did not obey the orders of the police officers to stop the vehicle in which he was transporting in Berat, in cooperation with the citizen BT, a quantity of cannabis, which was then seized as material evidence./ CNA
