Accident in Shkodra/ One person dies

A road accident occurred this afternoon at the entrance to the city of Shkodra. According to reports, a truck hit a pedestrian, who died.

Police say the victim is citizen HB, 78 years old. The driver of the truck, citizen AP, has been escorted to the police station, while the investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.

At around 4:00 PM, in the "Liria" neighborhood, a truck-type vehicle, driven by citizen AP, hit a pedestrian, citizen HB, 78 years old.

As a result of the accident, citizen HB lost his life.

The driver of the vehicle, citizen AP, was escorted to the Police premises for further action.

The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident .  /CNA
