Elections in Turkey/ Erdogan votes accompanied by his wife

Turkish President Erdogan went to the polling station together with his wife Emine.

Erdogan has voted in Istanbul, after his rival, Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu, who voted a few minutes before.

Upon arrival, the president of Turkey greeted his supporters gathered in the area. He and his wife rushed to take pictures with the small children who were in the area.

After the vote, President Erdogan expressed his belief that the result of these elections will be "good for the future of the state", but did not say whether he thinks he will win.

"God willing, after counting the votes tonight, the result will be good for the future of our country, for Turkish democracy," he said.

Meanwhile, Kilicdarogu vowed to restore democracy.

"We all lacked democracy," he told reporters. "You will see, God willing, spring will come for this country," Kilicdaroglu added./CNA.al
