Bomb alert in Montenegro/ Podgorica and Tivat airports are closed

Montenegro was alerted this Saturday by a bomb notification at the airports of Podgorica and Tivat.

The Montenegrin authorities were called by an unidentified person with a foreign number, who said that bombs had been placed at the two airports.

Local media reports that the airports of Podgorica and Tivat were immediately closed, causing chaos.

Inspection teams have started checks to verify whether the alarm is false or not.

The pilots who have started flying towards these two airports are informed not to land until the checks are completed.

We remind you that this is not the first case of a bomb alarm in Montenegro. Even before, alarms were raised, which later turned out to be false./ CNA.al
