Western leaders have expressed concern about the scale of nuclear strikes on Ukraine by senior Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin, especially after the February invasion.

But one of Russia's most powerful officials, Sergei Naryshkin, head of the SVR Foreign Intelligence Service, denied the allegations and pointed the finger at the West.

“A do të deklaroni kategorikisht se Rusia nuk do të përdorë armë bërthamore në Ukrainë ose nuk do të angazhohet në veprime të tjera provokuese, të tilla si shpërthimi i një bombe apo hedhja në erë e një dige?”, është pyetur ai nga BBC.

We recall that yesterday the governments of the United Kingdom, the USA and France issued a joint statement on the claims of the Russian government. They rejected what they called "Russia's transparently false accusations" against Kiev.
