MFA: Serbia has no interest in normalizing relations with Kosovo

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has today once again made the request for the lifting of the European Union's punitive measures against Kosovo, during a meeting with the ambassadors of EU countries in Pristina.
Osmani described the continuation of these measures as unfair, emphasizing that they harm the citizens of Kosovo and contradict the principles of the EU itself.
"I emphasized the urgency of removing unjust measures against Kosovo," Vjosa wrote on Facebook.
The European Union imposed measures against Kosovo in 2023, following tensions in the north of the country, and has stated that they will be lifted only after Kosovo takes concrete steps to de-escalate the situation.
During the meeting, Osmani also discussed the formation of new institutions after the February 9 elections and the EU-mediated dialogue process. Kosovo is expected to have a new government soon, following the certification of the election results by the Central Election Commission./CNA
