'Defender Europe 2025' exercise also for Kosovo/ Osmani: New chapter

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani visited today as part of the 'Defender Europe 2025' exercise, in which the Kosovo Security Forces are also participating. Through a post on social media, Osmani shared footage from her visit and meeting with KSF troops.

Osmani emphasizes that with this participation, Kosovo is writing a new chapter in international military cooperation.

"Today, in my capacity as Supreme Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, I visited Defender Europe '25 – the largest US Army Europe exercise of the year, where Kosovo not only participates, but also has the honor of hosting. Side by side with the armed forces of the United States of America and other NATO allies, our country is writing a new chapter of international military cooperation."

Just two days ago, in the US, we discussed the common vision for the defense of Europe. Today, this vision is being implemented on the ground, on our soil, through Defender Europe '25 – an exercise of extraordinary proportions that demonstrates the commitment to peace and security. Around 1,000 members of the KSF are directly engaged – professionals equal to allies from the most powerful countries in the world. This is a clear message: Kosovo not only contributes, but is ready to be part of NATO”, - Osmani says. /CNA
