260th Meeting of the Government in Kosovo/ Kurti: New decisions and appointments

This Thursday in Pristina, the 260th meeting of the current Government of Kosovo was held, with the presence of Prime Minister Albin Kurti. At the meeting, several decisions were made regarding appointments to senior management positions and the formation of temporary committees with the aim of concluding the recruitment processes that began before March 22, 2025, when the government has de jure become a government in resignation.

These appointments include:

- Executive Director at the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education;

- The General Director of the Education Inspectorate;

- Executive Director at the Kosovo Metrology Agency;

- Chief Inspector of the Central Health Inspectorate;

- Citizenship Appeals Commission;

- Ad hoc Commissions for Professional Assessment for Admission to Senior Management Category Positions, respectively for Executive Director at the Central Procurement Agency and Executive Director at the Treasury of Kosovo.

260th Meeting of the Government in Kosovo/ Kurti: New decisions and appointments

Through a post on social media, Kurti announced that other decisions taken today were:

- Reallocation of 4.5 million euros to 25 different capital projects across municipalities in accordance with 25 memorandums of understanding for capital projects signed by the Ministry of Local Government Administration and Municipalities and donors;

- Approval of the revised Action Plan 2025-2026 for the implementation of the Local Self-Government Strategy 2016-2026, which aims to increase local autonomy and provide cost-effective services in municipalities. /CNA
