Bomb explosion in the center of Athens, who took over the attack

The area in the center of Athens continues to remain blocked, where a bomb exploded shortly before 1:30 am and caused material damage near the Ministry of Labor. 

The area is surrounded by police forces who immediately went to the scene, diverting the traffic.

The act of terror was preceded by two phone calls from unknown persons who warned about the placement of the bomb. Responsibility for the terrorist act was taken by the newly created organization "Self-Defense of the Revolutionary Class".

According to the publication of the Editors' Magazine, "an unknown person warned of a high-powered explosive device on Stadiou street near a bank, just before one after midnight. The responsibility, according to his words, is assumed by the self-defense of the revolutionary class".

Preliminary investigations on the case are carried out by the Antiterrorist Service (DAEEB)./ CNA
