An application by Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan to visit their mother in the UK after a heart attack has been refused by a court in Romania.

"The Romanian state has decided that she will be alone for Christmas, if she is alive," said Andrew on X - the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The Tate brothers currently face allegations of rape and trafficking, although both deny them.

Currently, they cannot leave Romania. The last session was held behind closed doors and the judge is expected to publish the reasoning on the decision in the coming days.

The brothers have been granted freedom of movement within Romania after a period under house arrest, but international travel is restricted.

They were arrested in December 2022.

They are accused of abusing women by promising them marriage in exchange for intimate acts.

Andrew Tate insists he is innocent, and believes prosecutors lack evidence to support the charges against him.

He has recently attempted to return confiscated assets, including luxury cars and watches worth millions of euros./ Rel
