A protest is being held in Belgrade today, called by students after rallies they held in Novi Sad, Kragujevac, and Niš.
The rally in Slavija is scheduled for 4:00 PM, while marches will be organized from different parts of the city before that.
The Serbian Parliament, before which the rally was originally scheduled to be held, announced that for security reasons the buildings of the People's Assembly will be closed until Monday, in order to do everything possible to ensure that the announced rally passes without incident.
The Minister of Health has ordered all hospitals to operate at increased capacity. The Prosecutor's Office calls on citizens to exercise their right to protest in accordance with the constitution, but also emphasizes that violence will not be tolerated.
On the other hand, students have announced a peaceful protest. They have marched to Belgrade from several parts of Serbia, and last night they were welcomed at Terazije. The protesters come from various cities such as Novi Sad, Subotica, Smederevo, Kragujevac, ?a?ak, Niš and other cities./ CNA
