Netanyahu warns: Attacks on Iran will increase in the coming days

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently stated that he was given instructions to continue the military campaign against Iran during a meeting with his defense minister, chief of staff and head of the Mossad security service.

Netanyahu warned that attacks on Iran would increase following the assassination of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior Iranian officials.

"Our forces are striking the heart of Tehran with increasing intensity, which will continue to increase in the coming days,"  Netanyahu said in a video filmed on the roof of the defense ministry complex in Tel Aviv.

During his speech, he acknowledged what he called "painful days," referring to significant Iranian attacks on Israel in Tel Aviv and Bet Shemesh in the past 24 hours, which have killed at least 10 people. The Israeli prime minister expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.

In the statement, Netanyahu also reiterated his appreciation for US President Donald Trump and praised cooperation with the US military.

"These joint forces enable us to do what I have hoped for 40 years - to deliver a devastating blow to the terrorist regime," he said. /CNA
