NATO disappointed with Albin Kurti: You promised that you will not take uncoordinated actions

NATO has expressed disappointment for the lack of coordination of the Government of Kosovo with the peacekeeping force, KFOR.

In a reaction to the Government's recent actions to close a number of Serbian parallel institutions under the argument that they violated Kosovo's constitutionality and laws, NATO spokesperson Farah Dakhlallah highlighted the alliance's concerns, writing that the Kosovo government had provided more before NATO that any action in the north would be coordinated with KFOR.

"Very disappointing yesterday's actions in the north of Kosovo which were not coordinated with @NATO_KFOR despite repeated commitments to do so. KFOR is fully prepared to support its mandate of UN Resolution 1244 for all communities in Kosovo. De-escalation and full engagement in the EU Dialogue is needed," she said./CNA
