The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, has caused "earthquakes" in his government.

This Wednesday, several ministerial changes were announced, which were communicated by the government spokesman, Pavlos Marinakis.

Giannis Oikonomou has been dismissed as Minister of Defense and replaced by Michalis Chrysochoidis.

Andreas Nikolakopoulos has been appointed Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Defence, a position that Kostas Katsafafos has held until now.

The latter was sacked after causing displeasure over the handling of the issue of fan violence.

Adonis Georgiadis will be appointed to the post of Minister of Health, while Domna Michailidou will take over the Ministry of Labor.
