North Macedonia on fire, 26 fires in the last 24 hours

The Center for Crisis Management (CMC) announces that in the last 24 hours there have been 26 fires in outdoor areas and five of them are still active today.

"The five active fires are in the territory of North Macedonia - Negotina in the village of Kalanjevo (where low vegetation and forest are burning); Novosella above Badilen village, "Shamok" locality (pine forest); Gjevgjeli, between the villages of Negorci and Kovanec (mixed forest); Dollneni, above the village of Crnilishte (vegetation is burning) and in the Municipality of Shtip, between the villages of Dragoevë and Sellcë, the locality "Haxhi Rexhepli" (where vegetation and bushes are burning). Since the early hours of this morning, action has already been taken against active fires and as a reinforcement of firefighting forces from the ground, an army helicopter has launched an operation on the fire on Mount Serta, while the police helicopter is preparing to take off two planes are planned to fly to Serta", said QMK, reports Alsat M.

All emergency cases should be reported to the single emergency number 112 in KMK, especially when citizens have life-threatening situations.
