The trial against the former American president, Donald Trump, continues.

According to the Guardian, one juror was dismissed after prosecutors raised concerns about the accuracy of her answers, and a second juror quit because she felt intimidated after some details of her identity were made public.
Five jurors remained, after Judge Juan Mercan confirmed them. He also asked media covering the trial to show "good will" and refrain from describing the jurors, who must remain anonymous to avoid pressure.

This development shows the pressures exerted around the first criminal trial against a former US president.

Trump has criticized witnesses, court officials involved in the trial and even their relatives, prompting Merchan to issue a "partial injunction" against the former president.

US Attorney Christopher Conroy said today that Trump violated that order with his recent tweets about his former lawyer (and potential witness against him), Michael Cohen.
The trial will continue with the selection of other jurors.
