Kurti: The opposition votes with zeal against Albulena, but does not dare to

Kosovo's acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, spoke at the meeting of the General Council of the Vetëvendosje Movement, after being nominated for prime minister.

During his speech, Kurti said that in the next mandate, one of the key points of governance will be obtaining the status of a candidate country for the EU.

Further, Prime Minister Kurti stated that the goal is for the integration chapters to be closed by 2030.

Kurti also stopped short of the impasse over the constitution and decision of the Constitutional Court, which he called the political shadow of the opposition.

Kurti said that this is not the first time that the Constitutional Court has harmed important processes for the country's citizens.

Regarding the opposition, the Prime Minister of Kosovo stated that opposition parties vote diligently against Albulena Haxhiu, but do not dare to vote against the Serbian List.

 

" Acquiring the status of a candidate country in the EU will be one of our key points. We will expand bilateral relations with non-recognizing countries, especially those in NATO. The goal is that by 2030 our country will have closed all integration chapters, towards EU membership.

The Constitutional Court is functioning as a political shadow of the opposition to Vetëvendosje. I have a dilemma whether this measure of the Constitutional Court is more absurd or harmful. We wanted a political agreement, while the opposition is constantly at the Constitutional Court. It is not the first time that the Constitutional Court has damaged important processes for the citizens of the country. Opposition parties vote zealously against Albulena, but they do not dare to vote against the Serbian List. Today we suffer from information chaos. The informational darkness has been replaced by an informational fog in conditions of freedom , "said Kurti./ CNA
