Today, Israel launched a direct attack on Hamas leaders in Doha, Qatar.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has admitted that the attack was carried out by Israel and that their target was those responsible, as the Israeli government calls them, for the October 7, 2023 attack.
"Today's action against the top Hamas terrorist leaders was a completely independent Israeli operation. Israel initiated it, Israel carried it out, and Israel takes full responsibility," Prime Minister Netanyahu's office announced.
According to reports from Al Arabiya television, among those targeted were several Hamas leaders, including: Khalil al-Hayy, Khaled Meshaal, Muhammad Darwish, Razi Hamad, Izzat al-Rishq, Zaher Jabarin and Nizar Awadallah.
