Ekipet e huaja i bashkohen Marokut në përpjekjet për kërkim-shpëtim

Ekipet e kërkim-shpëtimit po luftojnë me kohën teksa gërmojnë për të gjetur ndonjë të mbijetuar nën rrënoja në Marok, pas tërmetit më të fuqishëm që është regjistruar ndonjëherë në këtë shtet.

Një tërmet 6.8 shkallësh i Rihterit e ka goditur të premten qytetin jugperëndimor Marrakesh, dhe për pasojë kanë vdekur 2.100 persona, ndërsa mbi 2.400 të tjerë janë plagosur.

Autoritetet marokene ka thënë se ekipet nga Spanja, Britania, Katari dhe Emiratet e Bashkuara Arabe kanë shkuar në Marok për t’iu ndihmuar autoriteteve vendore.

Sipas Ministrisë së Brendshme, në të ardhmen mund të pranohen edhe ofertat e vendeve tjera, pasi dërgimi i më shumë ekipeve në këtë pikë në Marok mund të jetë kundërproduktiv, për shkak të mungesës së koordinimit.

Tërmeti e ka bërë rrafsh me tokë fshatin Tafegagte në provincën Al-Haouz, rreth 60 kilometra larg Marrakeshit.Sipas agjencisë së lajmeve AFP, pak ndërtesa shihen në këmbë.

“Gjithçka është shkatërruar. Më është thyer zemra”, është cituar të ketë thënë Zahra Benbrik, 62-vjeçare, të cilës i kanë vdekur 18 familjarë si pasojë e tërmetit.

Sipas mediave në Marok, më shumë se 18.000 familje janë prekur nga ky tërmet./ Rel
