United States President Donald Trump has had a phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The news was announced by President Trump himself through a post on Truth social.

The US president wrote that the phone call between the two leaders was very productive. Part of the call, Trump stated, was the agreement on TikTok.

" I just finished a very productive phone call with President Xi of China. We made progress on many very important issues, including Trade, Fentanyl, the need to end the War between Russia and Ukraine, and the approval of the TikTok Agreement. I also agreed with President Xi that we would meet at the APEC Summit in South Korea, that I would go to China early next year, and that President Xi would also come to the United States at a convenient time. The call was very good, we will speak again on the phone, I appreciate the approval of TikTok, and we both look forward to meeting at APEC ," Trump wrote./ CNA
