The 10 best states to retire in the US

Although in 2022 the Sunshine State was named the no. 1 to retire, Virginia has taken first place this year, according to personal finance website WalletHub's "2023 Best State to Retire" study, writes CNBC.

WalletHub ranked all 50 US states in three main categories: affordability, quality of life and access to health care. Each category included data from various agencies, including the US Census Bureau, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Community and Economic Research Council.
