Air conditioner no more than 22 degrees/ Expert shows how to save energy

Orjon Islamaj, from the Energy Efficiency Agency, gave some advice on how to manage household appliances so that the energy bill does not kill our pocket.

In the "Today" show, in Euronews Albania, the expert said that the air conditioner is the device that consumes the most energy, so it must be rated carefully.

He advised that the air conditioner should not be heated above 22 degrees. According to him, this is the ideal temperature that significantly changes consumption for the better.

"The environment must be well insulated, air must not enter, temperature 29-30 degrees is wrong. 22 degrees is the ideal temperature, consumption changes a lot with a significant difference", said Islamaj.

He suggested that the shower should not be unplugged if it is used a lot during the day, as he pointed out that this household appliance has a significant part of the energy bill, from 15-20 thousand Lek./euronews
