Energy expert Lorenc Gordani spoke about the decision taken by ERE yesterday to increase the price of energy from October 1 for those who would consume more than 800kw per month.

Invited by nw Fax news, Gordani said that there was no reaction from civil society, therefore ERE also approved the policy proposed by the government. He clarified that up to the consumption of 800 kw per month, the price would not change, while each kw more than this would cost 50.4 Lek and no longer 9.5 Lek.

“Unë do nisesha duke thënë që gjatë kësaj kohe qeveria ka bërë një vendim që duhet të ishte bërë publik që në prill. Ne gjatë kësaj kohe duhet të kishim një ndërgjegjësim nga shoqëria civile, por mesa duket në vendin tonë, shoqëria civile mbahet nga donatorët dhe nuk kanë pasur asnjë komunikim të haput. ERE ka humbur mundësinë e artë për të mrojtur rolin e vetë duke hapur një komunikim publik për transparencë. Në finale kemi këtë vendimmarrje që ishte e pritshme.
