A group of businessmen, citizens GS, FB, MP, Sh.F, SK, ML are the persons investigated in the file of Mayor Erion Veliaj.

What is striking is that Mayor Veliaj has decided not to face justice and to endlessly postpone the process, a tactic that is already clear, but the businessmen continue to be dragged along by the mayor of Tirana. He does not go to the process and the businessmen are held hostage.

While the businessmen could have gone to their trials and already closed the process, they continue and are being dragged by the mayor of Tirana who will not face justice, while until yesterday he was saying that he was in prison without charges, now he is charged and will not go to court.

What holds businessmen hostage in their relationship with Erion Veliaj?

Why should they follow the mayor if they have no connection and no obligation, why should they stand behind his rants, postponements of sessions, their lack of progress, the delay in justice? What is the reason?

It's quite simple. Their relationship was not what they claim, a normal relationship because there would be no strings attached.

Their relationship and behavior towards justice now further proves the accusations of SPAK prosecutors against the mayor that if they were clean and had done nothing, they would receive summary judgments, go to separate trials, quickly close the files and be free in their lives.

But they have chosen to drag themselves along, unfortunately, but they should not forget the expression said by the people that THE DROWNED WILL DROWN./ CNA
