Who is mocking and stealing from Albanians at the airport?

Vlora Airport, one of the new airports expected to begin passenger flights next year, has been the main news in recent days, sparking a series of debates, clashes, intrigues, attacks, counterattacks, silences, public figures involved on one side, and on the other, the opposition that has started its schemes, saying that we have this and that document and that it is an affair that goes beyond incinerators, etc.

A cacophony has been created, a noise, and no one is providing an explanation. In fact, the Vlora airport is a concession granted by the Albanian state, which includes its construction and operation.

There was also a Turkish company in the concession papers, which has since left. Meanwhile, the Munich airport company has been brought in, directly or indirectly, to manage the project after the investment is complete.

And one fine day, almost six months from the date it should be handed over, since the deadline for delivery and start of operations is in March 2026, the scandal broke: Two companies receiving a concession, a third person with 2%, who starts attacking the largest shareholder, and the news that another company has left. Lots of fuss and noise!

They came and took the concession contract, Baca Behgjet from Kosovo and a Walloon, then another Walloon, because there are two Walloons in history, and a scandal broke out, as if many Albanians were interested in how Baca Behgjet was "breaking the stomach" with the Walloon.

So what do Albanians care about how Valoni stole millions of euros from Behgjet at the Benghazi airport? Who needs this?

They are two private companies, they have their own pockets, they steal from each other. They will eat your head!

The Albanians' interest is to build an airport in Vlora.

What interest does it have for Albanians that Valoni, who is a partner with 2%, not that other Valoni who is an administrator, wants to take the shares of the Turks, because he has invested money for investments, because Behgjet has taken this loan there, then Behgjet is attacked for having taken money from the Russians, because this Valoni has done this here, because he has stolen the money there.

Albanians have an interest: to complete the Vlora airport, to start operating, to have more destinations.

For Vlora, it should become a major gateway for tourism, which will undoubtedly bring millions and millions of euros in revenue to the budget. It could increase flows and movements from many European cities, bring more tourists, more money to the budget.

This is the public interest. They rip each other apart and steal, Valoni steals Behgjet, or Behgjet steals Valoni, why do Albanians need this?

Now that so many days have passed since this debate, if they are two private actors, in a concession contract, and they start butting heads with each other, the state intervenes, kicks them out, and starts construction of the airport. If one is not making the investment plan as defined, the state goes and takes them for a b…, kicks them out.

They are two private individuals who are "fighting" with each other, why do you give me these shares, why don't you give them to me, yes I have invested 60 million euros, no, they come out to 23 in your invoices, yes you stole from me here, yes you stole from me there, yes this one has done this movement of shares in this other country. But what does this need for the Albanian state, and what does the Albanian public? There are few private businesses, concessions and contracts where the owners and co-shareholders do not get along with each other?

The Albanian state, the Albanian government has an interest in the completion of the airport.

If there is an investment plan, in November the situation at the airport should be in this state, 80% of the volumes, let's say, completed. At this moment, the state itself controls and kicks the Behgjet uncle if he has not done so, along with Valoni.

Because they haven't made the investment plan. Or is the airport expected to be completed in March? So why will a fight between two private individuals cost Albanian citizens? Because they don't agree? Yes, they can both go crazy. Will they come, rob Albanians and do whatever they want in Albania? Yes, even Behgjet Pacolli, even Valoni, and anyone else in between, from first to last.

What interest do Albanian citizens have in having taken Valoni and Behgjet's swords?

Let's cut off each other's heads. The airport is important. Who are these people who returned to public debate? They have received a concession contract, respect the contract, if not, take them and take them to where their place belongs.

The issue of Vlora airport comes back, as if it's a big problem and a burden, not the state, not the government, etc. If they kick both of them from first to last, they'll check your investment plan and that's it.

They have been making a circus with each other, let them go and solve it with each other. They have been making a circus at the expense of the interest of the Albanian public, let them go where they belong, let them bear criminal responsibility.

Neither Baca Behgjet, nor Valoni, nor their friends can hold the Vlora airport hostage.

These will come with a big drum, great patriots who come to us from Kosovo and would make a super investment in Albania. In the meantime, we are in this situation. The fact is the fact. There are two private individuals who are fighting with each other.

Heads up! The public interest is to make Vlora an airport. The government should take them to the border, whether it's this guy Behgjet or that Valoni who started the stories in Benghazi and wants to end them in Vlora./ CNA
