Marketing ideas from Albanian companies have often been wrong, abusive and scandalous, but the latest case from the company "Erzeni" seems to exceed all limits. This company, in a promotional video published a few days ago, misused the image of an iso-polyphonic group and replaced their portraits with cow heads.

“Erzeni, you won't find a better one!” , - the company's motto says, but in vain. And the case of this advertising campaign clearly proves it. You can't find a weaker, more derogatory and banal advertisement, centered precisely on the elements of the buyer's tradition and culture.

This is not a simple advertisement for dairy products and its subtypes, but an insult and mockery of the country's folk costume, tradition, and culture.

The dairy products and by-products company may have forgotten about the Parmalat advertising case in Spain, with the Barcelona club, when sales dropped significantly.

This, for "Erzeni", is another wrong decision and they should understand this well, especially those who approved it.

Perhaps this company aims to attract attention and provoke a reaction through this marketing, but it should not be forgotten that it could also lead to a boycott of the products.

What if all of Labëria rejects "Erzeni" products, due to the insult they are receiving, through the misuse of the image of those who today sing what is the essence of Albanian culture and tradition.

Elements of iso-polyphony are not only used in an ugly way, but also beyond elements of national sensitivity.

Such a post is neither "viral" or "trending" in appearance nor in content, as it directly insults one of the Albanian traditions, which is valued even beyond Albania. As such, it should be noted by the competent authorities.

Albanian folk iso-polyphony is part of the world heritage list and in 2005 was declared by UNESCO as a "Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity". /CNA
