The next case discussed in the show "Stop" on TV Klan, tonight, May 19, is related to a problem on "Kastriotët" street, near the Kamza turn, where a building that has been depreciated for years is located, which has become a serious concern for the residents of the area.

The building, which previously served as a school and then as a voting center, is now out of operation and has been transformed into a garbage dump and a shelter for drug users.

Residents say that the situation has become unbearable, not only because of the pollution and heavy wind, but also because the building impedes the free passage of pedestrians, who are forced to walk in the path of vehicles, risking their lives.

"We stood up as residents, the entire building, we signed the papers and then in the end, this administrator took it to the Municipality. The Municipality rejected it once, twice, three times. I mean, it's useless. I don't know who is hiding behind this building."

According to them, the building has also become a source of infections, while the fear of crossing that stretch of road has increased, especially during the evening hours.

Residents say they have made continuous complaints to the relevant institutions, but so far no concrete measures have been taken.

The employee of the Kashar Administrative Unit stated: We no longer administer the schools. The Tirana Municipality administers them. From 2005-2006 a new school was built there, in fact all the students have transferred to the new school.
