Agron Malaj, convicted of assault/ CNA reveals the decision of the Court of Mati

Agron Malaj, the former mayor of Mati and the candidate elected in the next Parliament, has two serious criminal files, which are being intensively investigated by SPAK . The former guard of January 21, Agron Malaj, also turns out to have been convicted in two cases, one of which in 1999 by the Mati Court.

In 1999, Agron Malaj, then 19 years old, together with ED, were arrested for intentional injury and illegal possession of a weapon. BB and A. GJ were injured. The incident took place in a bar, where after a quarrel, Agron Malaj shot at citizens BB and A. Gj.

CNA has obtained the decision of the Court of Mati, in 1999, where for Agron Malaj and ED, the prosecution requested a guilty plea for the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons, with 10 and 4 months in prison, respectively. While regarding the charge of intentional injury, the prosecution requested that Malaj and ED be declared innocent.

In the court decision, obtained by CNA, it is stated that the injured party BB has withdrawn the complaint filed for his injury by Agron Malaj and ED. Under these conditions, the prosecution requested from the court the dismissal of the case against Agron Malaj and ED for the criminal offense of intentional slight injury . Referring to these reasons, the Mat Judicial District Court decided in 1999 for Agron Malaj to plead guilty for illegal possession of combat weapons and sentenced him to 10 months in prison.

It also sentenced ED to 4 months in prison for the same criminal offense.

However, these criminal offenses do not turn out to be Agron Malaj's only violations. The elected Socialist Party candidate is suspected of being involved in several criminal offenses together with his brother Fatos Malaj and Elvin Tivarin .

It is suspected that the directors of the Municipality of Tirana and Agron Malaj himself, through the company "Global Security" and other businesses, exchanged tenders with each other, both in the Municipality of Tirana and in that of Mat.

CNA warned yesterday that it will continue to publish exclusive data, which will unravel the companies of Agron Malaj and his brother, Fatos Malaj./ CNA
