Important facts and details are coming to light after the in-depth investigations that SPAK has conducted into Ajola Xoxa and Erion Veliaj, the couple involved in corruption and money laundering schemes.
CNA revealed the testimony of citizen Erald Ismaili, who during his statement to investigators highlighted the "tentacles" of Ajola Xoxa that lead him to the Sharra landfill. This would never have been possible if Erion Veliaj were a simple citizen and not a member of parliament for the Gjirokastër District or the mayor of Tirana.
Erald Ismaili explained that "MEG Albania", a company operating in the field of recycling and waste, was referred to him by Mayor Veliaj's wife, Ajola Xoxa, and Klotilda Bushka.

According to Erald Ismail's statements, Vladimir Fezga, who was also the owner of "MEG Albania", a company that came from the Veliaj electoral zone, had gone to Ajola Xoxa's office to open a business in nothing less than the Sharra landfill.
Fezga had gone to Ajola's office to obtain a type B environmental permit.
He had prepared the documentation, secured the expert for the Environmental Impact Assessment and made the application to the National Environmental Agency.
After receiving the permit, he remembered that the activity of the company "MEG Albania" had begun, but he had no information on how long it had continued.
"Regarding the case of the company 'MEG Albania', Erald Ismaili explained that this company had been referred to him by Ajola and Klotilda.
"Client Vladimir Fezga had come to Ajola's office to open a business in the Sharra landfill and to obtain a type B environmental permit. He had prepared the documentation, had secured the expert for the Environmental Impact Assessment and had made the application to the National Environment Agency. After obtaining the permit, he remembered that the activity of the company 'MEG Albania' had begun, but he had no information on how long it had continued," the SPAK decision states.
The negligent murder of Ardit Gjoklaj was recorded in the Sharra landfill, which was kept secret and publicly denied in the media by Tirana Municipality officials.
On August 7, 2016, the body of a 17-year-old was found dead. Ardit Gjoklaj was employed at the waste sorting plant of the company '3R' sh.pk in Sharra, while family members said that the 17-year-old was working to provide money for books and school.
Without yet closing the still bleeding wound of the murder of Ardit Gjoklaj in 2017 at the National Business Center, the company "MEG Albania", owned by Vladimir Fezga, registers a secondary address in the Sharra landfill.
The company "MEG Albania" was granted an environmental permit to recycle urban waste in the Sharra landfill, just two months after this company had started work.
Vladimir Fezga and his company "Meg Albania" benefited from Veliaj's contract for waste recycling in Sharra.
Ajola Xoxa assisted the company "Meg Albania", preparing the documents for the company to take over the waste business at the Sharra landfill, just a few months after the murder of Ardit Gjoklaj, at a time when her husband, Erion Veliaj, was the mayor of Tirana.
In his statement, citizen Erald Ismaili clearly stated that he was only a formal name and all actions were carried out by Ajola Xoxa.
After the company "MEG Albania", the company "ECO Tirana" and "ECO Recycling" were created.
Now Vladimir Fezga, who managed the recycling plant in Sharra after the murder of Ardit Gjoklaj, would also be in the "ECO Recycling" company.
In 2017, a concession contract was signed for waste treatment and the construction of an incinerator in the Tirana Region for 30 years.
The contract became effective in 2018 and "Integrated Energy BV SPV" took over the entire Sharra landfill and Vladimir Fezga became unnecessary.
For this reason, "MEG Albania" closed its secondary address in Sharra and sold the shares it owned in the company "ECO Recycling".
The shares of "MEG Albania" were purchased by the Tirana incinerator company "Integrated Energy BV SPV".
Ajola Xoxa, the wife of Erion Veliaj, the acting mayor of Tirana, is clearly seen assisting a company to enter the Sharra landfill and then sell the shares to the companies of Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri.
And again, everything goes back to the schemes of Ajola Xoxa's companies that "shone" with Erion Veliaj's coming to power.
The scheme goes from Ajola to Erioni, in his electoral area, then to the Municipality of Tirana to the Sharra landfill to end up with the structured criminal group of the non-existent Tirana incinerator.
Below, CNA is providing the diagram, which clearly shows the chain created.

So, as we outlined above, this is the link that directly or indirectly leads Ajola Xoxa to the Sharra landfill, after she assisted the company "MEG Albania", and prepared the documents for it to be the company that would deal with the waste in the Sharra landfill.
This company then ended up in the hands of the incinerators' men, Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri, who were declared internationally wanted, considered a structured criminal group, and convicted of one of the most corrupt schemes of the last 30 years./ CNA
