"Created new owners of the sea and land"/ Krasniqi's

Political scientist Afrim Krasniqi, through a status on social networks, has denounced illegal construction in coastal areas.

Krasniqi writes that the Tast Forca (Force for Unauthorized Construction) has failed and the person who ran it has ended up in prison.

Further, Krasniqi writes that the one who coordinated the takeover of coastal areas took some land for himself and then became an MP.

Krasniqi states that Rama created new owners of the sea and land and made the privatization of the coastline legal.

In his status, the political scientist posted two photos from Jala, from 2013 to 2025, showing the increase in construction along the coastline.

Retrospective, October 2013. The government approved the Task Force for the protection of the territory. At the head of the Minister of the Interior. The mission? End of unauthorized construction and barbarity in coastal areas. The Prime Minister declared then in the KKRT that “the Albanian coast, which is also one of the greatest assets that this country inherits, ... sometimes with permission and sometimes without permission, has developed in a flow that must ultimately be stopped”. We gave him and the government the right. Control of the territory, confronting violators with the law, ending the abuse of the coast/public property and the anti-corruption approach had to be implemented. They are prerequisites for a market economy, competition, the rule of law and sustainable development.

Reality and balance? Here is an illustrative photo, Jalë 2013 - Jalë 2025. The Task Force (2013) failed successfully. The one who led it ended up in prison for corruption. The one who coordinated the takeover of the coastal areas took some parts for himself and then became a deputy, while being appointed to the "court" of the ruling party. The one who had political connections, in addition to the sea, also took the mountains. The one who promised an end to the coastal massacre with a drop of a pencil created new owners of the sea and land, mountains and roads; thus he legislated the privatization of the coastline for the friends of his sponsor from Velipoja to Butrint. Jalë is just a symbol of arrogance towards the values of the rule of law.

Restoration of the rule of law? Free market economy? Anti-corruption? Urban renaissance? Sustainable development? End of abuse/arrogance? They were promises. Once translated into votes and finished their function, they became slogans for public consumption. A consensual feature here and the same in all authoritarian and corrupt models.

"That's how it started ," Krasniqi writes.
