Aleks Nika's uncle said during the tributes for "January 21" that the state crime was covered up by the government of that time. 

He said that the evidence has been destroyed, but the family members are still looking for justice, for SPAK, for the guilty to be punished. 

"The murder of Alex and 3 other protesters was revealed in front of the cameras, they were protesters who were not making the road. All four were killed on the boulevard, an order from above could lead to the killing of the protesters. This is a state crime that has been broken. The evidence was destroyed. From this year we have hope and faith that January 21 will speak in the language of truth, law and justice. The decision of the Strasbourg Court is mandatory to be implemented. The ball is in the court of the new Albanian justice, we are hopeful", he said. 

Today marks 13 years since the serious event, where four people were killed on the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" and many others were injured.

On January 21, 2011, Aleks Nika, Ziver Veizi, Hekuran Deda and Faik Myrtaj were killed during the opposition protest.

On January 21, the then opposition, now in government, protested in front of the Prime Minister's Office. The protest degraded into violence and clashes, while fire was opened from inside the Prime Minister's Office, bringing the tragic balance with four victims.

The gathering happened after the publication of a video on the show "Fiks Fare", where Ilir Meta, then deputy prime minister in the Berisha government, appeared with a black pad in his hand, making bargains with the late former minister, Dritan Prifti. /CNA
