According to the announcement by the Ministry of Defense, 32 fires have been reported in the last 24 hours, 9 of which remain active.
The active foci are:
The fire at the Lake of Flowers in Lura, in Zall Gjoçaj of Mat, in Maqellarë, Mallakastër, Vlorë, Shkopet, Librazhd.
44 firefighting vehicles and 620 operational forces were involved in the firefighting operations, while the Armed Forces contributed 110 personnel, 5 firefighting vehicles and 2 helicopters.
Today, 167 AF troops, 21 vehicles with crews and 1 helicopter have been deployed.

"A total of 32 fires have been reported in the last 24 hours, of which 9 remain active.
The outbreaks have been identified in the municipalities of: Dibër, Mat, Bulqizë, Mallakastër, Roskovec, Vlorë, Himarë, Tepelenë, Përmet, Kurbin, Mirditë, Elbasan, Korçë, Selenica, Kavajë, Kamëz, Tirana, Shijak, Krujë and Malësi e Madhe.
The following fires are currently active:
Dibër County: In the “Lake of Flowers”, Lura National Park, the fire is developing in two separate foci – one in the active “Fusha e Pelave” and the other over the village of Gurë-Lura under monitoring.
Bulqizë: In "Livadhi i Peladhisë", Zerqan unit, an active hearth above the village of Krajkë, in difficult terrain with bushes and oak trees.
Mat: In Zall Gjoçaj (“Black Stream”), a protected area with pines and yews; the rugged terrain makes intervention difficult.
Dibër: In Dovolan (Maqellarë), the fire has reactivated and is spreading towards Pejka and the area near the Black Drin.
Mallakastër: In the village of Belishovo, the fire coming from Drenova remains active.
Vlora: In "Qafa e Shëngjergjit", above Dukat (Orikum), a hotbed has been reactivated on the top of Paliska. Local forces, the Armed Forces and a helicopter have been engaged.
Tepelena: Near Beçisht, near mobile antennas, the fire is under monitoring.
Kurbin: In Shkopet (Milot), despite efforts, the fire has not been contained; about 65 ha of forest have been burned.
Elbasan/Librazhd: On the border between the villages of Shmil and Gurakuq, a fire has engulfed a large chestnut forest.
The fires are mainly concentrated in areas with bushes and vegetation, with a total of over 90 hectares burned.

Weather conditions and fire risk According to IGJEUM, no precipitation is expected today. The risk level for forest fires is "HIGH" in the regions of Lezhë, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier, Berat, Korçë and Gjirokastër, while in the other regions a moderate risk is predicted.
Civil protection structures continue to be continuously engaged in managing and extinguishing fires throughout the territory. We call on citizens to exercise increased caution and immediately report any suspicious fire to the relevant authorities."/ CNA
