Journalist Klodiana Lala has learned details from the investigative file of the head of the Public Prosecutor's Office Jonaid Myzyri.

According to the journalist, the wiretapping of an employee of the Public Procurement Commission, Lindita Skeja, has been revealed, and suspicions are being raised about the abuse of the 2.3 million euro tender for the maintenance of the 58.7 km road, "Rrëshen (Fanit Bridge) - Shpal, Shpal - Repsit Bridge".

The wiretapped telephone conversation of KPK employee Lindita Skeja implicates the head in abusive tender procedures.

According to details provided by journalist Klodiana Lala, employee Skeja complains to her interlocutor on the phone that she had signed as a sheep, as requested by Myzyri, and now she had to appear for questioning.

In the investigative file, the Special Prosecution Office emphasizes that "the results of the wiretapping raise reasonable doubts that in the decision-making of the Public Prosecutor's Office for the review of the complaint with the subject: "Routine maintenance with performance of the Rrëshen (Fanit Bridge) - Shpal, Shpal-Q.Bene - Hadroj, Shpal - Repsit Bridge", with a limit fund of 219,866,693 lekë excluding VAT, as well as in other decision-making, there are elements of illegal actions that may have influenced these decisions."

SPAK is investigating the tender procedures during the years 2020-2023 as there are strong suspicions that they were conducted without competition, as in many cases only one company participated, and in other cases, companies were unfairly disqualified./ CNA
