The situation is problematic in Shengjin. The Ministry of Defense has given details, noting that the intervention to extinguish the fire is being done from the ground and from the air.

After the request to the European Mechanism of Civil Protection, two Canadair planes are expected to arrive very soon for intervention from the air. The situation continues to remain problematic despite all the commitment at the national level.

Residents are urged to cooperate with the police and firemen in case of evacuation.

"Despite the continuous work of operational forces in the field, under the coordination of the Civil Protection Agency, the situation at the heart of the fire in Mal Shengjin village is problematic.

In addition to the firefighting forces of the local government, the Cougar helicopter was also engaged in extinguishing the flames, but as a result of the strong wind, the fire spread, endangering the residential areas and businesses in the area. Measures were taken in time for their evacuation, making it possible to avoid danger.

Yesterday, 20 fire engines operated throughout the night with 60 firefighting forces. Today, apart from the Cougar helicopter, 40 firefighting vehicles and 150 operational forces are working.

After the request to the European Mechanism of Civil Protection, two Canadair planes are expected to arrive very soon for intervention from the air. The situation continues to remain problematic despite all the commitment at the national level.

We call on the residents to cooperate with the police and firemen in case of evacuation. Thanks to our European Civil Protection Mechanism partners for their help!
