On the "Road of Barricades", next to the Mount of Tirana, the highest tower of the capital will be erected.
Architect Alejandro Aravanea and his studio "Elemental Studio" designed the 100-story tower. Meanwhile, its construction will be done by two Albanian companies.
In relation to this project, a competition for the selection of the project was held in the premises of a well-known hotel in Tirana with the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
4 projects from foreign architectural studios participated in the competition and the Aravanea project was finally selected.
The new tower starts out as a single body and then splits into two, giving it the push of a two-finger shape. Its height makes the Intercontinental Hotel after 15 floors, Tirana Rock and Tirana Mountain look like "dwarfs", as it will be 300 meters high.
