Knowledge costs money. But at the Order of the Psychologist they sell it more expensive than in the best universities of the world. Kapitali.al publishes documents that prove the extortion scheme through abusive fees raised by the Order of the Psychologist. The photo below shows the fees that Albanian psychologists have to pay for training in the field of justice and certification as assessment experts. As the document shows, the cost of the training is 145,000 Lek or about 1,400 euros.

Official data from INSTAT show that a psychologist in the Republic of Albania is paid an average of 45-50 thousand net per month. This means that just for a training in the field of justice, psychologists have to pay a fee equal to their monthly salary.
But it doesn't end there. This is a cost imposed on psychologists by the Order almost compulsorily through austerity measures.
"If you don't do the training you can end up in the Ethics Commission or you can face an unimaginable revenge," a psychologist told Kapitali.al on the condition of anonymity.
Due to abusive fees and lack of transparency a few days ago, hundreds of psychologists from all over Albania called the Extraordinary Assembly of the Order of Psychologists of Albania requested by 1/3 of all members of the Assembly.
At the end of the secret ballot, it was decided to dismiss with immediate effect the president of the Order of Psychologists of the Republic of Albania, Mrs. Valbona Treska:
"The voting process for the dismissal from office with immediate effect, the president of the Order of Psychologists, from the examination of the election document, results as follows: The number of participants in the general assembly 386, the total number of votes 248, valid ballots 204, invalid 44, from the counting of valid ballots the votes were as follows, in favor of dismissal 204, against dismissal none, abstention none at the end of the counting the result is announced, with 204 votes in favor and no votes against, the president of the Order of Psychologists, Mrs. Valbona Treska , it is up to him to be dismissed from office", it was said during the decision.
But Mrs. Treska does not know the dismissal. Immediately after the Assembly, she stated that: "she made this reaction to the decision to dismiss her:
"Since there is a fake news circulating in the media, that the President of the Order of Psychologists Mrs. Valbona Treska has been dismissed from office, we clarify that: the President of the Order of Psychologists enjoys full health, she continues to be in charge of the institution together with its other bodies, in accordance with all legal provisions in force. The Psychologist's Order will continue to fulfill its legal mission with full responsibility."
Treska was elected as the first president of the Order of Psychologists in 2017 by the Constituent Assembly. She was re-elected in 2021 for another 4-year term./ Kapitali.al
