"Ryanair" reported that it has received record bookings in advance on the 17 new routes from Tirana to other destinations and vice versa.

With airfares starting from just 15 euros, citizens can fly and make day trips to destinations in London and Milan or vice versa, they can take daily services to Bologna, Brussels, Catania, Pisa, Rome and Venice.

This was also warned by Michael O'Leary, the company's general director.

"For a long time, the growth of new routes and traffic in Albania has been hindered by existing high-cost airlines such as 'Lufthansa', 'Air France', 'BA' and 'Wizz'. From next Tuesday October 31, this era of high fees ends. Ryanair's low fares are coming to Tirana. Thousands of visitors are coming to Tirana and we look forward to bringing thousands of Albanian citizens to/from Europe to visit their friends and relatives", he declared.

The company's director said that Ryanair is the only major airline in Europe that has recovered to 130% of its pre-Covid traffic.

"We are proud to launch 17 new routes to/from Tirana next week and are thrilled with the strength of early bookings, and the demand that exists in Albania and across Europe for Ryanair's low fare flights to/from Tirana.
