Jalldiz Kastrati was appointed yesterday evening as a defense party for the former prime minister Sali Berisha, from the list of state lawyers.

She, along with Rabie Cenaliajn, were appointed attorneys for Berisha by the GJKKO at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Today, the two lawyers appeared at SPAK for the hearing against the former prime minister, which has been postponed to 15:00 to give the defense time to familiarize itself with the documents.

But who is Jalldiz Kastrati?

The lawyer is known to have been a candidate for deputy in the parliamentary elections of April 25, 2021.

Kastrati was 11th in the list of candidates for Shkodra of the Socialist Movement for Integration.

She has been a lawyer for several well-known characters of criminal groups, such as Dritan Dajti, members of the Cërriku Gang and the Durrës Gang.
