Salary increase for the Armed Forces/ From commandos to doctors and nurses

The government's recent decision to increase financial treatment specifically affects some of the structures that are considered national assets within the Armed Forces.

- Special Forces personnel will have additional financial treatment of up to ALL 40,000 per month;

- Commando Forces 30,000 ALL per month;

- among these categories are search and rescue officers, who will receive up to 30,000 lek per month in addition to their salary;

- Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officers will receive up to 25,000 additional lek per month;

- while those of the Protection against Weapons of Mass Destruction (MADM) up to 25,000 ALL per month;

- meanwhile, up to 25,000 ALL per month will be the additional financial treatment that the Military Police officers will receive;

- a special category are the doctors and nurses who serve in the FA. It has been determined for doctors to have an additional financial treatment of up to 25,000 ALL per month, while for nurses up to 18,000 additional ALL on top of the salary per month.

This increase aims to increase not only the motivation of the current troops, but also serves as an incentive for all young people to become part of the Armed Forces./ CNA
